From Daily Caller:
“I think it is fair to say she’s hurting,” Feinstein said during an interview with MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell. The Democrat had lunch with Clinton last week when the former secretary of state visited Capitol Hill to attend Nevada Sen. Harry Reid’s retirement party.
“She is brave,” Feinstein said of Clinton.
“She is a real professional in the sense of her values, care, concern. I think all of us know who watch that campaign, it was a very hard campaign for her — the name-calling, the email intrusion, the misinterpretation of what she had done with the emails,” she continued.
Clinton has made only a few public appearances since losing to Trump last month. She has also been spotted hiking in the woods near her mansion in Chappaqua, N.Y.
In her first public appearance, at a gala for the Children’s Defense Fund held about a week after Election Day, Clinton talked about her struggle with the loss.
“Now I will admit, coming here tonight wasn’t the easiest thing for me,” said Clinton, who appeared disheveled. “There have been a few times this past week when all I wanted to do was just to curl up with a good book or our dogs and never leave the house again.”
So much for the strong woman facade, huh?
I’m sure losing an election you thought you were owed and were a shoe in for hurts. But here’s the thing… the name calling? You should be used to it by now.
First off, Hillary did her fair share, and she was certainly assisted by her worshipers and the media. They try to make it sound like she – and all the rest – ran a clean, wholesome, and classy campaign. For God’s sake, her worshipers were assaulting people who didn’t agree with them, and they burn down cities at the drop of a hat. A guy punches a protestor at a Trump rally and it’s STILL in the news as of two days ago. But Hillary’s worshipers dragging a guy from his car, beating him senseless, and then stealing his car? Did most people even see that on the news?
Second, if you are going to be in the public eye at all, you need thick skin. If you don’t have the brass set to take what’s thrown at you, you shouldn’t be up there. Period. If she’s clutching her pearls at Trump telling her she should be in jail, what in the Hell would she do with ISIS and Putin?!
Thirdly, she didn’t seem to have this weak kneed woman problem when she was letting men die in Benghazi. She was perfectly able to play stupid when questioned about her email server, and she was strong enough to not only defend herself, but then use a hack on said server as fodder against Trump. And she was able to rally everyone around to scream about Trump mentioning Russians when it was let out that she was handed debate questions and she screwed Bernie Sanders, all in the name of taking the spotlight off of herself. But now, all of a sudden, she can’t handle some name calling. Oh, boo hoo.
Yeah, she’s a real role model for young girls.
