Hillary Clinton, Eric Holder Still Blocking the Truth

Like the current administration’s untruthful response to the Benghazi attack, the reasons for these Clinton-era clemencies were purely political and an obvious attempt to further Hillary Clinton’s political career. In 1999, Hillary was planning for her 2000 U.S. Senate run. Offering clemency to these individuals was designed to help her gain footing with New York’s Puerto Rican population of 3.5 million people.

However, Clinton and her team miscalculated. Instead of a quiet release and minimal fallout, (like they also hoped for with Benghazi), the terrorists did not immediately accept clemency and a firestorm erupted. The terrorists were allowed an astonishing 30 days to consider their release, as the FBI, Bureau of Prisons, and various law enforcement organizations condemned the offers. Forgotten victims and families like mine publicly demanded answers from the Clintons. The U.S. Senate passed a resolution of condemnation by a 95 -2 vote as media outlets hammered the administration.

Many of the same political figures you are hearing about in the scandals of today were involved back then; Eric Holder, Hillary Clinton, and her former Chief of Staff Cheryl Mills, who, in 1999, wrote to congressional investigators to inform them that President Clinton would be asserting executive privilege in the inquiry into the FALN. Because of this executive privilege claim, none of the Justice Department or FBI officials testified at the congressional hearing at which we warned that releasing these terrorists would set a horrible precedent.

The questions from 1999 and 2013 are eerily similar: why did the executive branch obfuscate and refuse to explain the truth to the American people? In 1999, why did they misrepresent the facts regarding convicted terrorists whose organization killed five innocent Americans and maimed scores of others? In 2013, why did the administration misrepresent facts regarding terrorists who attacked an American consulate and killed four heroes?

It’s time America understands who Hillary Clinton, Eric Holder, and Cheryl Mills really are: ruthless, unscrupulous political opportunists. I said in 1999, “It is painful to think that my father’s life was worth less to the president than his wife’s election.” I regrettably expect the families of the Benghazi victims are feeling a similar pain now.

Attkisson Reports Latest on Fast & Furious; ABC, NBC Omit Scandal in Holder Coverage

Mere hours before President Obama announced Attorney General Eric Holder’s resignation, Sharyl Attkisson reported on Thursday that U.S. District Court Judge John Bates ordered the Justice Department to “turn over a list of withheld Fast and Furious documents by Oct. 22 [2014]. Attorney General Eric Holder had sought a delay until the day before the midterm elections….Judicial Watch sued…[DOJ] in September of 2012 over its refusal to turn over…[the] documents.”

CBS Evening News mentioned Fast and Furious in their coverage of the Holder announcement that evening, but NBC Nightly News failed to mention the scandal (ABC’s World News didn’t cover the resignation at all). The following morning, ABC and NBC’s morning newscast continued omitting the gunrunning controversy in their coverage of the attorney general. However, correspondent Major Garrett noted the scandal in his report on CBS This Morning: [MP3 audio available here; video at below link]

MAJOR GARRETT: …Holder made history of a different kind as well…becoming the only attorney general held in contempt by the House of Representatives. Republicans accused Holder of withholding documents relating to Operation Fast and Furious, a federal gun-tracing effort implicated in the death of border patrol agent Brian Terry.

Attkisson noted that Judge Bates labeled “the government’s arguments for ‘even more time…unconvincing,'” and outlined how conservative organization Judicial Watch has been trying to obtain the documents for two years:

Judicial Watch sued the Justice Department in September of 2012 over its refusal to turn over public documents related to the Fast and Furious gunwalking case. The…group is seeking all of the documents that President Obama ordered withheld from Congress on June 20, 2012 under executive privilege. It was the first time, and is the only time, the president has exerted executive privilege to withhold documents. The privilege was exerted even though the Obama administration has steadfastly claimed the White House and Holder had no knowledge of or involvement in the gunwalking strategy used by Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms agents under the Department of Justice in Fast and Furious. The agents allowed thousands of assault rifles and other weapons to “walk” into the hands of Mexican drug cartels.

If Rush Limbaugh’s Thoughts on Holder’s Resignation Turn out to be True, America is in Big Trouble

At least I’m not the only one thinking it.

There have been calls for the ousting of Eric Holder, activist attorney general who operates more like Obama’s personal lawyer, from office for quite some time. His tenure has been plagued with scandal after scandal and Holder’s defiant attitude is not what one would expect from the man who is supposed to represent America and the constitutional best interests of American citizens. As the first sitting Attorney General to be held in contempt of Congress, Holder has obstructed justice and, when he sought to get justice, it was selectively applied depending upon ethnicity.

By his own admission, he is an activist, even while occupying the position that leads the Department of Justice.

The announcement of his resignation, which will officially take place as soon as his successor is found, came as a surprise to many. While some rejoiced, others speculated reasons for the decision to resign. Conservative talk radio icon Rush Limbaugh posed a possibility that should send chills down the spine of every single patriot loving America, especially those who may have been victims of the Obama regime’s targeting of private citizens using the IRS for simply having a different point of view politically, one grounded where theirs should be, in the Constitution.

The Daily Caller’s Matt Lewis tweeted about Rush’s speculation as to why Holder would resign.

“There may be a Supreme Court vacancy — and I can see Barack Obama nominating Eric Holder to fill it.” – Rush LImbaugh

If Rush Limbaugh’s Thoughts on Holder’s Resignation Turn out to be True, America is in Big Trouble.

Let’s face it… his resignation today was not a surprise. If you remember, he announced earlier this year that sometime in 2014 he was going to step down. He did it today. Why such a wait, why not just step down?

And don’t forget, there has been a lot of pushing and pulling to get Ginsburg to retire.

We cannot have Holder on the Supreme Court. Cannot. He would make a complete mockery out of it. His interpretation of the Constitution doesn’t match the interpretation of just about anyone else on Earth, and he’d be sitting there making decisions based off of that?

We’d be screwed. That would be the end of the Constitution and, frankly, the USA as we know it. That cannot happen.

Obama Announces Attorney General Eric Holder’s Resignation

Sadly, it isn’t to go to prison for running guns.

Attorney General Eric Holder, the first African-American to be the nation’s top cop, announced today that he is resigning.

President Obama made the official announcement at the White House alongside Holder at the White House this afternoon.

“Through it all he’s shown a deep and abiding fidelity to one of our cherished ideals as a people and that is equal justice under the law,” Obama said.

Speaking in the East Room of the White House, the president praised Holder for doing a “superb job,” ticking off his impressive work to root out corruption and fight violent crime, lower the incarceration rate and protect civil rights.

“It’s a pretty good track record,” Obama said.

The announcement comes after his nearly six years at the helm of the department that were marked by both highs and lows for a man who came in to revamp what many considered a demoralized and scandal-plagued institution.

Under Holder’s leadership, the Justice Department saw “historic gains in the areas of criminal justice reform and civil rights enforcement,” particularly on the issues of gay rights, sentencing reform and voting rights, and in the coming weeks Holder is expected to impose new curbs on racial profiling in law enforcement, a department official told ABC News.

Anyone else getting a little feeling somewhere in the back of their gut that Eric Holder might be headed for the Supreme Court if Jug Ears gets his way? There has been too much attention on Ginsburg lately to not think this way.

May God save us if that gun running, race baiting piece of crap gets in there.

The Four Charges in Holder’s Articles of Impeachment

The four charges in the articles of impeachment are:

1. Refusal to comply with a subpoena issued by the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform on October 12, 2011, seeking information and documents regarding Operation Fast and Furious. This is a violation of 2 U.S.C. 192.

2. Failure to enforce multiple laws, including the Defense of Marriage Act, the Controlled Substances Act, and the Anti-Drug Abuse Act of 1986. This is a violation of the oath Mr. Holder swore to “well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office” of Attorney General.

3. Refusal to prosecute the IRS officials involved in the targeting and disclosure of tax records belonging to political donors. This is a violation of the oath Mr. Holder swore to “well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office” of Attorney General.

4. False testimony under oath before Congress on May 15, 2013, about the Justice Department investigation of journalist James Rosen. This is a violation of 18 U.S.C. 1621.

Fast and Furious lawsuit can proceed, judge tells Obama administration

The legal brouhaha came on the heels of Mr. Holder’s refusal to provide all the documentation sought by House members regarding the Justice Department’s responses to Fast and Furious. Fast and Furious was an undercover operation aimed at rooting out illegal gun trafficking operations along the Mexican border.

A congressional investigation found that the operation may have led to 2,000 weapons being placed in the hands of drug dealers and kingpins, absent proper federal oversight. And some of the weapons have since shown up in the hands of criminals — and have been involved in the fatal shooting of U.S. Border Patrol agent Brian Terry. Mr. Terry’s family has since sued the federal government over the incident.
