Democratic establishment seeks to boot Bernie Sanders in 2018

While the Democratic Party attempts to rebuild and unite, bitter Hillary Clinton supporters are plotting the political destruction of Sen. Bernie Sanders, who remains a threat to their influence. Clinton’s allies have been working nonstop to unseat Sanders and diminish his relevance among the millennial voting bloc.

Sanders, who won 71 percent of the vote in his 2012 re-election campaign for Senate and 86 percent of the vote in Vermont during the 2016 presidential primaries, is considered a major threat to the Democratic establishment.

Leading the charge is Vermont resident and avid Clinton supporter Jon Svitavsky, a homeless shelter director, who announced on July 5 that he will be challenging Sanders in 2018.

Svitavsky and his supporters feel that Sanders is bad news for the Democratic Party, and they will stop at nothing to end his career.

“I think Sanders has hurt our country very badly with what he’s done,” Svitavsky told NPR. “So not only did Bernie divide the Democratic Party and what not, but he continues to bash them, even on the unity tour, saying that Democrats and Republicans are the same, and they’re not.”

While Sanders has remained a critic of the DNC, he didn’t bash Democrats during the DNC unity tour and one would be hard pressed to find such a comparison quote from the socialist.

Democrats want to stay establishment. Period.

Look, I don’t like Bernie. I don’t want to see this country become a socialist nation, I don’t think it is good for anyone, especially the USA. But the bottom line is… Bernie did challenge the status quo. He offered the left something different than the same old thing, while continuing to offer them an old white man, something they rail against while still fully demanding.

Donald Trump offered the same on the right, but was, obviously, more successful at it. Both Donald and Bernie offered the American people a taste of actual change. People looked at both of them and saw that there was an option other than voting for the same candidate with a different name. Something we all complain about at every election. “There’s no one to vote for.” “Same sh–, different election.”

But both Donald and Bernie offered the people someone they could relate to. Donald is a businessman. He grew his empire. Yes, he was wealthy, but he worked. He didn’t spend his entire life being groomed for politics the way Hillary Clinton was. Everything about Hillary’s life was her being groomed for president. She married Bill for power. She stayed with him through the affairs for the same. They had one child to show the family values that were so important at one time, and now that child is being groomed for politics, too. Donald was out getting married and divorced, having kids, running businesses, etc. That is more relatable.

Bernie was out protesting. He was being dragged off by the police and there was photographic evidence. The people who support him are doing the same thing and can relate to that. He, again, wasn’t being groomed. He offered something different, something they saw as relatable. And when he stood up to talk, he wasn’t promising the same things they’d heard a million times with different wording. He was offering something they wanted, something they saw as attainable (even if the rest of us didn’t see it as attainable or affordable). And he at least appeared to believe in what he was saying instead of saying what he thought his base wanted to hear. I’m not saying Bernie was honest, and I’m not saying he wasn’t out for himself, because he clearly is (what’s he up to now, three homes? While preaching about income inequality). But he was believable and different.

The Democrat establishment wants him gone. The same as the Republican establishment wants Trump gone. They don’t want change or relatability. They want power and their agenda. It isn’t about us. It never was.

Arkansas bar to decide on potential discipline against Hillary Clinton

Washington Times

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton escaped criminal charges last year, but her legal troubles may not be over — the Arkansas state bar has promised a decision by next month on disciplinary action.

And the State Department continues to probe Mrs. Clinton’s mishandling of classified information, with an eye toward deciding whether she and several top aides should maintain their access to classified information at the State Department.

“The department’s investigation is ongoing,” State officials said in a letter to Sen. Chuck Grassley, which the Iowa Republican released earlier this month.

The department said Mrs. Clinton still has access to documents created or reviewed during her time in office. Meanwhile, some seven aides have access to limited classified information, the department confirmed.

It said their access is also under review.

Wow. That’s some serious stuff you got yourself into there, Hillary. Nice job.

Note: haven’t seen the MSM discussing this much.

Hillary Confidante On An HRC 2020 Run: “Oh Yeah… She’s Running.”

A top confidante of Hillary Clinton said she’s definitely running again in 2020, per Gateway Pundit.

Doug Schoen said on Fox Business Network, “oh yeah… She’s running.”

Check it out:

“I was at an event with her and Bill Clinton last week and she made it very clear that she’s back in the game.”

I wouldn’t bank on it too hard. Every month it changes. It wasn’t all that long ago that she announced she had no plans to run again, after saying she did plan to run again a short time before that. She has no idea, and neither does anyone else. But the people around her need to convince her to retire. This last election between her and Trump should have opened her eyes. It didn’t and won’t, but let’s face it… I don’t think there has ever been a dumber election in American history.

Also, I’m not sure she’d get through the primary again.

Hillary Clinton Blames Right-Wing Media ‘Domination’

So triggered. (Photo by Justin Sullivan/Getty Images)

“Look, we have an advocacy press on the right that has done a really good job for the last 25 years,” she said later, returning to the subject. “They have a mission. They use the rights given to them under the First Amendment to advocate a set of policies that are in their interests, their commercial, corporate, religious interests. Because the advocacy media occupies the right, and the center needs to be focused on providing as accurate information as possible. Not both-sides-ism and not false equivalency.”

She attack right-wing media a third time in the interview, complaining about their “domination” of the media.

“We’re up against suppression, we’re up against an even greater domination of the media by the right. We are up against the propaganda machine. I mean, they have a reelect campaign already started! They have raised millions of dollars,” she said. They know that they’re in a fight.”

It is getting so old listening to lefties who lost elections whine and complain about the right wing media and the damage they inflicted on them.

Yes, there is a right wing media. Yes, they have a right wing agenda. There is also a left wing media with a left wing agenda, and that left wing media is the mainstream media. The fact is, there is no “center” media. There is not a media source right now that does not have a wing bias. It’s why I encourage people to read both right wing and left wing media, because the real story is a combination of the two sides. But you have to work to find it, and people don’t want to do that. I don’t blame them. But we tend to go where we lean.

So, no, Hillary. The right wing media probably didn’t hurt you, because the people following right wing media weren’t going to vote for you anyway. The left wing media was pushing hard for you and your agenda, and you still lost. That’s you. It’s all you, lady. Judging by your inability to take personal responsibility for your loss in a rigged election that was practically handed to you and was pushed for so hard by the left wing media, we apparently dodged a hell of a bullet by keeping you out of office!

Cosmo Magazine Calls Bill And Hillary Clinton “Good Marriage Role Models”

Only the sex-obsessed writers at Cosmopolitan could try that line out. There are a lot of ways to try to defend the Clintons, but that’s not one.

In the article The Clintons and the Reality of a Long Marriage, the women’s magazine attempts to make the case that the Clinton marriage is actually one that everyone should look up to. Apparently, hating philandering men is no longer a part of the feminist agenda. At least, as long as one’s wife is running for president.

Bill Cllinton’s lengthy stroll down memory lane reminded Cosmo writer Ada Calhoun that the Clintons’ 45-year marriage has “outlasted the Gores, the first two Trump marriages, and the first two Gingrich marriages.” Wow, rather a low bar. Why not throw in Elizabeth Taylor or Henry VIII?

The article attacks divorcees Trump, Giuliani, and Gingrich for all being critical of Hillary standing by her cheating man. These men, Calhoun laments, think “you should have the ‘decency’ to leave your spouse” if you cheat on them. Never mind the decency to not cheat on them in the first place, right Bill?

But virtuous Hillary Clinton stuck by her man! She “could have put her husband’s recklessness behind her like a bad haircut and moved on to continue her change-making and achievements without him too. But she stayed.” And now, the sweet old couple “get to be doting grandparents together, mutually supporting each other in their latest acts, and potentially becoming the first married to couple to ever both be President, which will make a good Christmas letter.”

Their marriage is based on a desire for power and nothing else. Bill has done half of D.C. Hillary hasn’t had a facial expression that wasn’t forced since 1962. Yeah, this is the model I want for a marriage!

Crooked Hillary still blaming everyone but herself for defeat

“Certainly, misogyny played a role. That has to be admitted,” Clinton told eventgoers. “Some people — women included — had real problems” with a woman in the Oval Office.

Full article: SAD: Crooked Hillary still blaming everyone but herself for defeat

Wow. I had no idea. Apparently I’m a misogynist because I didn’t vote for Hillary. She’d have to believe that if she thinks this played a roll in her loss, considering the sheer quantity of women – like myself – who didn’t vote for her. Because of the boxes liberals put everyone in, they refuse to admit that a large quantity of women – who’s box says they must vote democrat – voted for Trump or a third party candidate instead.
