Guess Who’s Headed to North Korea to Meet with Kim Jong Un

CNN is reporting that former NBA star and longtime weirdo, Dennis Rodman is heading back to North Korea, presumably to visit with his “friend” Kim Jong Un.

NBA Hall of Famer Dennis Rodman is expected to arrive in North Korea Tuesday, according to two officials in that country who spoke to CNN.

CNN spotted Rodman at Beijing International Airport, where he declined to answer questions. Rodman would be arriving in Pyongyang at a time of heightened tension between Washington and Pyongyang, which is currently detaining four Americans.

It’s unclear what the purpose of Rodman’s visit to the secretive country could be, but the eccentric former basketball player — and a former contestant on Dennis Rodman Visits The FOX Business NetworkDonald Trump’s pre-presidency reality TV show “Celebrity Apprentice” — is one of the only Americans to have met current North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

When asked by CNN journalists in Pyongyang, unnamed North Korean officials confirmed that Rodman is expected to arrive in Pyongyang Tuesday. They gave no further details.

I have heard some speculation that he may have been sent there by Washington. And, of course, there is a lot of collective eye rolling.

But I have to admit… I don’t have an issue with Dennis Rodman going over there. I don’t think it would be a bad move for Washington to send him there if they didn’t already set this up. Let’s face it, that fat little twerp likes Rodman. A lot. I don’t know if Rodman actually likes him or not, and I really don’t care. So far, the only person who seems to get anything at all – the only one who can squeeze blood from a turnip, as it were – is Rodman.

There seems to be a relationship here between Dennis Rodman and the fat little twerp, and it is one we could possibly use to our advantage. I like the idea of calming people down without violence, and if Rodman can calm this POS down a little without guns blazing, I’m all for it. It saves us from sending in troops, dropping bombs, wasting money, and mourning our dead.

Look, I’m not saying Dennis Rodman is going to get this guy to drop the bomb testing or stop making threats or stop generally dancing around like a chicken with a corn cob. But any positive aspect we can bring into this peacocking, let’s do it. He just might have the ability to stop something crazy coming out of that country.
