I’m just gonna leave this here…

Pelosi said, “We believe there’s a real opportunity. Now, it’s not a slam dunk. History is on our side, but it takes strategic, unified and disciplined — to have harmony. It doesn’t mean we have anonymity, but we have unity when it comes to that fight. Should I sing my praises? Well, I am a master legislator. I am a strategic politically astute leader. My leadership is recognized by many around the country, and that is why I am able to attract the support that I do which is essential to our election, sad to say.
“I am very pleased that the cooperation that we’re doing working with all the social media and small donor community to change how we communicate but also how we attract resources, intellectual and financial to the party,” she continued. “I have experience in winning the Congress. When people said to us in 2005, you don’t have a chance, be prepared for a Republican permanent majority, I said — Harry Reid and I said we don’t accept that. We proceeded. We took the president from 58 to 38. President Bush won the election. The fact is they will always make a target. Senator Reid was a target. Senator Daschle was a target. Tip O’Neill is a target. I am a target. They always want to choose our leaders and usually, they go after the most effective leaders because they want to take us, diminish the opportunity that we have.”

“So I understand that this beautiful song about His Holiness’s 80th birthday is a wish that he lives to be 113 years old. I am sure that we all associate ourselves with that remark and I know it’s good news to the government of Beijing,” she joked with the audience, many of whom looked confused by the remarks.
“When we were in Tibet they said to us ‘We support religion, we gilded the roof of the temple. We gilded… we painted the roof of the temple. We gilded the roof.’ We said back to them, ‘We’re not interested in what your gilding the roof, we’re interested in that you’re guarding the minds of the children, and we’re interested in freedom of education, of culture, of religion in Tibet; not painting the roof of the temple.’”

Hey, Nancy? You alright, lady? Gettin’ a little worried there. It’s hard to laugh at someone who is clearly sliding down off the deep end. I mean… we’ll still do it, but we might feel bad about it for a few seconds. Maybe. Probably not.
But still. Maybe take some vitamins? Do some crossword puzzles, strengthen your mind a little? My mom swears by the crossword puzzles and she’s sharp as a tack. You may want to give that a go.
“To achieve what we want to do for the middle class, for kids in school, for immigration reform, for all these things, we must change our politics. We must reduce the role of money in politics. We must dare to do that and so we have a dare, disclose, where is this money coming from, this dark money? Amend the Constitution to overturn Citizens United. Let’s get out there and mobilize and do it. Reform our campaign system to empower small donors and empower voters with a renewed and strengthened Voting Rights Act, removing obstacles of participation,” Pelosi said at the Make the Progress summit sponsored by the Center for American Progress.
“I’m for – and I’m interested in hearing your thoughts, and I know you’ll let me know – for lowering the voting age to high school age, whether it’s 16 or 17 or, because when kids are in school they’re so interested, they’re so engaged, and we would like them to be ready at least to register before they leave.”

She’s been off her meds too long (seriously, watch the video… she even sounds drunk). I’m sorry, 16 year olds are too busy texting the person sitting next to them to have any idea what is going on in the world. What we don’t need is more uninformed voters. Of course, that’s what people like Nancy want because otherwise they don’t get reelected.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said the four American hostages being held in Iran should not have been released as a pre-condition to the Iran nuclear deal.
At a Capitol Hill press conference, CNSNews.com asked Rep. Pelosi, “Do you think the four American hostages being held in Iran should have been released as a pre-condition to any deal made about Iran’s nuclear program?”
Pelosi answered: “No, no. It would have been good. But it’s just, no, this is a nuclear deal. This is a nuclear agreement. And I think that we have to–I appreciate the fact that since we have a nuclear negotiation and now we have a nuclear agreement that a much brighter light is being shone on the prisoners of conscience in Iran.”

“Here’s the thing – the president is one of the most practically non-partisan presidents I have seen in the White House. I’ve been there since Ronald Reagan, and he really is working to try to get some bipartisan agreement.
They’ve been working very hard to try to get the Senate consensus or some agreement on how we can avoid a shutdown of government but also how you can even remove all doubt that we’re not going to honor the full faith in credit of the United States of America by lifting the debt ceiling,”

I Swear…I Have No Idea How This Woman Sleeps At Night. – Chicks on the Right – Chicks on the Right.
See, here’s the thing.
The entire government is to blame. Not the Democrats. Not the Republicans. Both of them are to blame.
These two parties are more interested in poking each other in the eyes than actually accomplishing anything. So while they work hard to make each other look bad, the country is falling and people are losing faith and hope.
Here’s an idea to all the members of the government… Spend the time you would spend poking each other in the eye on actually doing something. If you focused that kind of attention on the country we’d have no debt, a thriving economy, and really, the sky is the limit.
Americans are tired of it. We don’t care why you think the other party sucks. You both suck!!!! Do your damn job and fix our country, or get out of the damn way and let in folks who will!
